I guarantee all guitars for 30 days from defects and I’ll do one free setup adjustment if the setup is not to your taste. It is up to the buyer to get the guitar to me for this service and/or cover cost of shipping both ways.
If you are otherwise dissatisfied or just change your mind within ten days of receiving the guitar, you may return it for a refund of the cost of the guitar. Again, it is up to the customer to pay for shipping. A deduction for any damage, wear, or other change in the condition of the guitar from when it was shipped to you, will be made at my discretion. Also, a restocking fee of 15% will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs are not refunded.
Refunds are made via the same payment method you used to pay for the guitar. i.e.: if you paid via PayPal, your refund is processed through PayPal, but an additional five percent is deducted because PayPal does not refund their fee.
You must advise that you want a refund and receive a return authorization number before returning the guitar. Such advisement must be made within ten days of the date you picked up the guitar or from the date I shipped the guitar. I must receive the guitar within ten days of giving authorization to return or an additional five percent is deducted from your refund.
If I do not receive the guitar within fourteen days of issuing a return number, the return authorization is void and there will be no return. If in this case, you had belatedly shipped the guitar, you will be expected to pay for return shipping.
It takes about twenty to thirty minutes of paperwork to process a sale and then its return. Adjustments to sales tax reports must be written, inventory must be updated. New product photos must be taken (since we remove them from our server to save space, after a sale). The guitar must get new strings again (because we promise new strings and they’re not new after being shipped to a customer), the setup must be rechecked and possibly redone, the guitar has to be cleaned and polished again, etc.
And the guitar has been unavailable to offer to other customers during the time spent in shipping and in your custody, extending the turnaround time and decreasing the return on investment.
Returns are expensive and the restocking fee does not really cover our costs. So, if you are uncertain about buying the guitar, please do not buy it from me!
