Harley Benton has relaunched its website harleybenton.com to make it easier for players to find out more about their impressively extensive range of affordable guitars, basses, amps, effects and accessories.

New search functions and extensive filter features now let players view guitars and basses matching their specific personal specifications.

However, sales are still being directed through Thomannmusic.com.

Awhile back, I did a review of an HB Telecaster vs a Sawtooth Tele, in this blog. Since then, I’ve become aware of several other cheap yet decent (if you realize you need to do a setup on any new guitar – especially cheap ones!) guitars such as GlarryMusic.com.

Guitars from each of these companies seem to have their own idiosyncrasies and distinct innate features – don’t expect them to be like or even feel like a Fender or Gibson. I’d recommend getting your hands on one before ordering online. But if you live out in the Boonies and don’t get out much, it might be safer to order a new, inexpensive guitar than a same-priced used guitar.
